Swiss Flight Services

Swiss Flight Services SA (ICAO code SFS) is a private Swiss company based in Colombier (NE), created in 2006 by passionate pilots. It operates its own fleet under the authority of the Swiss Federal Office of Civil Aviation (FOCA) and has become one of the major aerial survey operators in Europe. The company employs 57 persons full time, comprising 26 administration-management and 29 pilots, with 11 nationalities among its employees. Its activities include aerial survey and photo and LiDAR data acquisition, and it has also operated passenger flight services.

Swiss Flight Services SA (ICAO code SFS) was created in 2006 by passionate pilots as a private Swiss company based in Colombier (NE). It operates its own fleet under the authority of the Swiss Federal Office of Civil Aviation (FOCA). Year after year, SFS has become one of the major aerial survey operators in Europe. In November 2015, following a two-day audit, its IS-BAO Stage 2 was granted. In 2019, SFS received a new AOC, took delivery of a new King Air 350i on 4th June 2019 based at Les Eplatures, and started passenger flight services from August 2019 with a Beechcraft King Air 350i. On 19th October 2019, it completed its last holiday charter flight of the season. A new Tecnam P2012 SMP was purchased and expected to be operational by mid-May 2022. After more than three years of passenger flight services with a King Air 350, SFS decided to part with this aircraft at the end of October 2022, with new passenger transport services to be introduced in the future. Since the end of April 2023, the company has moved into new premises in Colombier.
