Suofeiya was founded in 2003 in Guangzhou, Guangdong, and grew as a specialist in custom wardrobes, a category that expanded rapidly in China's urban housing market. The company built a nationwide dealer network and later broadened its offering from wardrobes into whole-home customization, including cabinets, sofas and mattresses. It became a publicly listed company on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange under the ticker 002572, giving it access to capital for factory expansion and brand building. Over time the brand extended into multiple home-furnishing categories and positioned itself as a one-stop provider for Chinese households furnishing new apartments. Its corporate entity, Suofeiya Home Collection Co., Ltd., serves as the parent for the brand's product lines.
