Sunset Auto-Vue

Sunset Auto-Vue is a movie theater located in Grangeville, Idaho, United States. Public records identify it as a cinema venue serving the Grangeville area. The theater's name suggests it may have been a historic drive-in or "auto-view" style operation, but detailed information about its current form, ownership, and operations is limited. The official website associated with the venue, bluefoxtheatre.com, now displays the Blue Fox Theatre, which is described as Blue Fox Cinema and has come under new ownership. This suggests the Sunset Auto-Vue name may be connected to the same location or a predecessor operation, though available evidence does not confirm the exact relationship. The theater operates within the small-town cinema market of north-central Idaho, where such venues often serve as community gathering places. No information is available regarding its founding year, founder, parent company, or current ownership structure. The theater's status is unknown and it may be closed or operating under a different name. Further research is needed to establish its full history and current operations.

The known history of Sunset Auto-Vue is sparse. It is documented as a movie theater in Grangeville, Idaho, United States. The name "Auto-Vue" is reminiscent of mid-20th-century drive-in theaters, which were popular across rural America. However, no specific founding date, ownership changes, or operational milestones are available in the provided evidence. The official website linked to the venue, bluefoxtheatre.com, now features the Blue Fox Theatre, which is described as being under new ownership and referenced as Blue Fox Cinema. This suggests that the Sunset Auto-Vue may have been an earlier name for the same cinema or a related business at the same location. Without further documentation, the theater's full history remains unclear. It likely served the Grangeville community as a local cinema, but its current operational status is unknown.
