Sun Valley Movies

Sun Valley Movies is a movie theater located in Glen Burnie, Maryland, in the United States. It is identified in public data as a cinema venue serving the Glen Burnie area, and its official web presence is associated with Horizon Cinemas, the regional exhibition circuit under which the theater operates. As a local cinema, Sun Valley Movies functions as a retail entertainment destination: it sells admission tickets, concessions, and related moviegoing services to the surrounding community rather than producing films itself. The theater belongs to the exhibition side of the media and entertainment industry, where venues license and screen films from distributors for paying audiences. Its identity is therefore that of a place-based consumer brand — a named cinema that local audiences recognize and visit — rather than a film studio or a nationally marketed product line. The Horizon Cinemas association indicates that Sun Valley Movies is part of a small regional chain of theaters, benefiting from shared branding, booking, and operational support while retaining its own local name and location. Because the available evidence is limited to its identification as a Glen Burnie movie theater and its link to Horizon Cinemas, details such as its founding date, ownership structure, number of screens, and amenities are not documented here. What is clear is its category and role: a neighborhood cinema brand in Maryland offering first-run or repertory film exhibition to the public. Its website, hosted under the Horizon Cinemas domain, serves as the primary channel for showtimes, ticketing, and venue information.
