Suehiro Sake Brewery is a Japanese sake brewery. Its official name is Suehiro Sake Brewery Co., Ltd. (末廣酒造株式会社). The company is based in Aizu, Fukushima Prefecture, with locations in Aizuwakamatsu City and Aizumisato Town. It produces sake and has received awards at national and prefectural sake competitions.
History
According to the official history page, the brewery was founded in 1850 (Kaei 3) during the late Edo period, when the second son of the Niigata family, a sake brewer for the Aizu domain, started sake brewing as the first Inokichi. The brewery has continued through generations, with various expansions and innovations. It has received gold prizes at the National New Sake Competition and other events.
