Stiftung Archiv der deutschen Frauenbewegung

The Stiftung Archiv der deutschen Frauenbewegung (AddF) is a foundation and research institute in Kassel dedicated to the history of the German women's movement. Its archive opened on 8 March 1984, and the foundation itself was established on 8 March 2003 with initial capital of €57,500. It conducts its own research on women's movement history between 1848 and 1970 and is described as an out-of-university research institution. Since 2021 it has been recognized as a site of German democratic history.
