Stay Independent is a full-service Greek music company and independent record label headquartered in Athens, Greece. Founded in October 2019 in Marousi, Attica, by executives of the video production company Crystal View, it has rapidly become a major player in the Greek urban music scene, specialising in digital streaming and artist development. The label describes itself as "something more than a record label; it's the alloy of groundbreaking philosophies and lifestyles." It offers music distribution, publishing, production, 360 management, and A&R services, and has signed more than 300 artists. Stay Independent has been instrumental in promoting independent music in Greece, consistently leading local charts and hosting some of the biggest names in contemporary Greek hip-hop and urban culture. It has partnerships with sub-labels such as OffBeat Records, Trapsion Entertainment, and Barcode Crew, and collaborates with The Orchard for digital distribution. The company has achieved notable successes, including the record-breaking single "Voodoo" by Light and Hawk in December 2020, which surpassed 600,000 streams, and the album "Supernova" reaching No. 3 on Spotify's global debut albums chart. In July 2021, "Caliente" by Mente Fuerte, Hawk, and Baghdad became the first Greek diamond-certified single, exceeding 15 million streams in Greece. In December 2020, through a triple collaboration between Capital Music, Panik Records, and Stay Independent, the single 'Voodoo' by Greek rappers Light and Hawk broke the record for most streams for a debut Greek track, surpassing 600,000 listens. Through the same collaboration, a few days later, the album 'Supernova' by the two artists reached No. 3 globally on Spotify's top debut albums. In July 2021, through Stay Independent's catalogue, 'Caliente' by Mente Fuerte, Hawk, and Baghdad was declared by IFPI the first Greek diamond single, surpassing 15 million streams in Greece. The label has continued to expand into other alternative music scenes while maintaining the same principles. In 2025, it announced the creation of the sub-label 'ANIMA', marking the expansion of Stay Independent in the Greek music scene, aiming to be a creative home for established Greek performers.
