Space Coast Credit Union

Space Coast Credit Union (SCCU) is a member-owned financial cooperative that began in 1951 as Patrick Air Force Base Credit Union with seven founding members and $372 in assets. It serves more than 685,000 members with over $9 billion in assets, ranking as Florida's third-largest credit union, and operates branch locations across 34 counties along Florida's east coast from Flagler to Miami-Dade. Its mission is "To Create Value in Cooperative Ownership," and it offers banking services such as checking, savings, loans, credit cards, mortgages, and business banking.

SCCU began in 1951 as Patrick Air Force Base Credit Union with seven founding members serving 28 members with $372 in assets. It has grown into a credit union serving more than 685,000 members with over $9 billion in assets, ranking as Florida's third-largest credit union. Its reach spans 68 branch locations across 34 counties along Florida's east coast from Flagler to Miami-Dade. In 2025 it expanded in Orange County to serve the East Orlando community, and in 2026 it marks its diamond anniversary, celebrating 75 years of service.
