Solar One Music

Solar One Music is an underground record label based in Jena, Germany, founded at the end of 2006 by Nico Jagiella and Robert Witschakowski. The label specializes in electro and acid music, releasing vinyl records by notable artists such as The Exaltics, Helena Hauff, Heinrich Mueller (Dopplereffekt), and the Dutch artist Legowelt. In 2017, Solar One Music re-released The Exaltics' record "10 Million Light Years" to celebrate the label's 10th anniversary as well as the original release. At the end of 2017, the label expanded with a sub-label called "Between Places," which according to the label would release only "pure electro." The vinyl covers would be simple, focusing on the music itself. The sub-label has released EPs by electro veteran Das Muster and newcomer Animistic Beliefs. The label remains active in the underground electro scene.
