Soft Sparrow Sounds

Soft Sparrow Sounds is an American independent record label founded in 2023 by two brothers. According to its official website, the label exists primarily to publish the brothers' own musical work, making it a self-releasing imprint rather than a conventional label that signs outside artists. Its catalog is distributed through Bandcamp and promoted via YouTube, with contact handled through a Gmail address. The label operates a simple web presence hosted on Neocities, a free web-hosting platform popular among independent and DIY creators. Wikidata classifies it simply as a record label from the United States. As a small, self-operated imprint, Soft Sparrow Sounds has no known corporate parent, no publicly traded status, and no disclosed headquarters beyond its American origin. Its output and roster are limited to the founders' own projects, and it has not been associated with major commercial releases, industry partnerships, or notable press coverage. The label represents a contemporary example of the DIY, direct-to-audience model of music distribution, where artists bypass traditional label structures and release music themselves through platforms such as Bandcamp.
