Società Autostrade Alto Adriatico

Società Autostrade Alto Adriatico S.p.A. is a wholly publicly owned company established in April 2018 by the shareholders Regione Autonoma Friuli Venezia Giulia (92.53%) and Regione del Veneto (7.47%). Since 1 July 2023 it has taken over from S.p.A. Autovie Venete in operating the motorway concession for the A4 Venezia-Trieste, A23 Palmanova-Udine Sud, A28 Portogruaro-Conegliano, A57 Tangenziale di Mestre (for its share, up to Terraglio) and A34 Villesse-Gorizia routes. Its network extends over 234.6 km, of which 24.40 km are connecting links external to the motorway. The company is engaged in infrastructure development in northeastern Italy, in particular the project for the Terza Corsia along the A4 (Venezia-Trieste), and is entrusted with a strategically important function within the European 'Mediterranean' and 'Baltic-Adriatic' corridors.
