Sociedad Dominicana de Productores Fonográficos

Sociedad Dominicana de Productores Fonográficos (SODINPRO) is a non-profit collective management entity for related rights, legally constituted and authorized by the Oficina Nacional de Derecho de Autor (ONDA) under Incorporation No. 772-03. Its main function is to collect fair remuneration generated by acts of public communication of phonograms on behalf of phonogram producers and performing artists grouped under SODAIE. It is the entity authorized by ONDA to carry out collective management of rights over public communication of phonograms in establishments in the Dominican Republic, grouping related rights holders from around the world. SODINPRO is affiliated with the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI).

SODINPRO was established in 2004 as a non-profit music association in the Dominican Republic, headquartered in Santo Domingo. It is a member of the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) and is responsible for producing official music charts. It is a collective management entity for related rights, legally constituted and authorized by ONDA under Incorporation No. 772-03. Its main function is to collect fair remuneration generated by acts of public communication of phonograms on behalf of phonogram producers and performing artists grouped under SODAIE. It is the entity authorized by ONDA to carry out collective management of rights over public communication of phonograms in establishments in the Dominican Republic, grouping related rights holders from around the world. SODINPRO is affiliated with IFPI, which represents the interests of the recording industry of more than 8,000 phonogram producers in more than 70 countries.
