Sluggerfly is a small, independent game development studio founded in 2015 in Essen, Germany. They create games with personality and memorable characters, often combining dark and funny elements. Their games include Super Meat Boy 3D, Hell Pie, and Ben and Ed.

Sluggerfly was founded in 2015 in Essen, Germany, and released their first game Ben and Ed the same year. The team originally existed from 2009-2010 as a group of 6 game design students, during which they created a prototype for a game.
