Skanray was founded in 2007 by 5 experienced, ex-GE, medical technology engineers. In 2010, its manufacturing plant was certified with ISO 13485:2003 and ISO 9001:2008 standards. In 2011, it launched its first product Intraskan DC with US FDA & CE certification. In 2012, it launched mobile X-ray & critical care systems. In 2013, it acquired L&T Medical, expanded globally and acquired Pricol Medtech business. In 2014, it had the commercial launch of Fixed X-ray products and acquired CEI, an Italy-based X-ray tube manufacturer.
