Sixteen South

Sixteen South is a group of three companies: Sixteen South Originals, Sixteen South Studios and Sixteen South Rights. The group creates, produces and distributes quality television for children all over the world. Sixteen South Originals creates original ideas and formats, develops book properties for screen and partners with other creators in co-development. Sixteen South Studios is a multi-award winning 2D animation studio and production company based in Belfast, Northern Ireland, with 120 seats, which since 2007 has produced 463 episodes of 11 hit kids shows and has been honoured with more than 50 international awards.

Sixteen South Originals creates original ideas and formats, develops book properties for screen and partners with other creators in co-development; it is the creator of Lily's Driftwood Bay, WildWoods and Big City Park, co-creator of Sesame Tree and devised Claude for television. Sixteen South Studios is a multi-award winning 2D animation studio and production company; since 2007 it has produced 463 episodes of 11 hit kids shows and its work has been honoured with more than 50 international awards. It has co-produced with partners including The Jim Henson Company, Sesame Workshop, GBH, Kindle Entertainment and the BBC, and is a full service studio with 120 seats based in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
