Sichuan Expressway Company Limited was established in 1997, listing in Hong Kong the same year and on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 2009. It is described as Shudao Group's only listed expressway industry platform and the only A+H-share listed infrastructure enterprise in western China. Its main business is investing in, building and operating expressway projects, alongside green energy investment and integrated development of resources along its routes. Its expressway network includes the Chengyu, Chengya, Chengren, Chengle and Tianqiong lines radiating from Chengdu, plus the western section of the Chengdu Second Ring Road, Suiguang and Suixi, with interests in the Chengbei exit and Shuangliu Airport expressway. It has also developed charging/battery-swap, hydrogen, photovoltaic and energy-storage businesses along its road network.

Sichuan Expressway Company Limited was established in 1997 and listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in the same year; it listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 2009. Chinese Wikipedia states that it was formed in 1997 by Sichuan Expressway Construction and Development Corporation (holding 45.08%) and China Merchants Group's China Merchants Highway Network Technology Holdings Co., Ltd. (holding 29.48%), with its headquarters at No. 252 Wuhouci Street, Chengdu, Sichuan. As of end-2022, Shudao Group held 37.86% and China Merchants Highway held 24.88%, with the remaining 37.26% held by domestic and foreign institutional and individual investors. By the time of a later company profile, Shudao Group held 39.86% and China Merchants Highway 24.88% (21.73% directly in A shares and 3.15% indirectly in H shares), with 35.26% in free float. The company's expressway network has exceeded 900 km of open mileage, and it has expanded into green energy, including building what it describes as China's first expressway heavy-truck battery-swap corridor.
