Shindong Wine

Shindong Wine is a South Korean wine import company established in 1991. It has exclusive contracts with world-renowned wineries representing various regions and provides consistent services from supplier selection to wine import, storage, sales, and education.

Shindong Wine was established in January 1991. In 1992, it signed an exclusive contract with PIO CESARE. In August 1993, Shindong Wine Sales was established and exclusive contracts were signed with DOMAINE DE LA ROMANEE-CONTI and FRESCOBALDI. In 1995, exclusive contracts were signed with BOLLINGER, LA CHABLISENNE, PIERRE FERRAUD, E.GUIGAL, FAIVELEY, GAJA, LUNGAROTTI, and VEGA SICILIA. In 1996, exclusive contracts were signed with CASTELLEARE, NONINO, and TORRES. In 1997, exclusive contracts were signed with DOMAIN C.G.R and E.ROTHSCHILD (Ch,Clarke). In 1999, exclusive contracts were signed with ROBERT MONDAVI, PASCAL JOLIVET, LUCE, and DANZANTE, and the headquarters moved to Yeouido-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul. In 2000, Lee Jong-hoon became the 8th CEO, and exclusive contracts were signed with SENA and CALITERRA. In 2001, exclusive contracts were signed with DOMAINE PERRIN, VILLA MARIA, ZIND HUMBRECHT, TAYLOR'S, ROYAL TOKAJI, MIGUEL TORRES, and ERRAZURIZ, and the company entered Hyundai Department Store. In 2002, the Cheongdam branch direct store opened, headquarters moved to Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, and entered Costco and Hyundai Department Store (Busan). In 2003, exclusive contract with ARBOLEDA. In 2004, sales reached 10 billion KRW and exclusive contract with TORBRECK. In 2005, entered Hyundai Department Store (Apgujeong main branch). In 2006, exclusive contracts with A.ET P.DE VILLANE and CLARENCE DILLON WINES, and entered Hyundai Department Store (Mokdong). In 2007, sales reached 20 billion KRW. In 2008, sales reached 25 billion KRW and exclusive contract with INNISKILLIN. In 2009, exclusive contract with JEAN LEON. In 2010, designated as exemplary taxpayer, entered Hyundai Department Store (Sinchon, KINTEX). In 2011, received exemplary taxpayer award. In 2012, entered Hyundai Department Store (Ulsan, Jungdong, Daegu) and Lotte Department Store (Seomyeon). In 2013, entered Lotte Department Store (Myeongdong). In 2014, Yoo Tae-young became the 9th CEO, and entered Lotte Department Store (Jamsil Tower). In 2015, exclusive contract with TABLAS CREEK. In 2016, Hong Ki-man became CEO, entered Lotte Department Store (Daegu Station). In 2017, entered Lotte Department Store (Busan Gwangbok), moved Cheongdam direct store to Apgujeong, and signed exclusive contracts with BRIDE VALLEY, CASCINA EUGENIA, and GRACCIANO DELLA SETA. In 2018, exclusive contracts with TREVERI, THE PRISONER WINE COMPANY, DOMAINE VACHERON, and GOZZELINO.
