The promotion's official history page traces its origin to the 2005 meeting between former GAEA JAPAN ace Meiko Satomura and Michinoku Entertainment president Jinsei Shinzaki, followed by trainee recruitment, a training dojo, and the addition of first-generation trainees. The official site publishes event schedules, match cards, results, news, and a weekly video series titled 'Sendai Tamashii'.
History
According to the promotion's official history page, Sendai Girls' Pro Wrestling was born from the 2005 meeting between former GAEA JAPAN ace Meiko Satomura and Michinoku Entertainment president Jinsei Shinzaki. At the founding press conference, recruitment of trainees aiming to launch the promotion was announced. From August 2005, while a dojo to serve as the promotion's base was being sought, Satomura began training on her own. In October 2005, Akari Okuda, Chisako Kanari, and Yurie Kaneko participated in an audition hoping to become first-generation trainees, and all passed. From December 2005, Okuda and Kanari moved into a dormitory in Aiko, Aoba-ku, Sendai, and Kaneko joined later. In January 2006, a dojo converted from a warehouse was prepared with a ring and signage, and full-scale training began with an eye toward the promotion's first show. In July 2006, Chisako Kanari's younger sister Sachiko Kanari joined, and training continued with five members. The history page also records later activities including 2011 disaster-area pro wrestling in Ishinomaki and charity matches at Zepp Sendai, a 2012 tour to CHIKARA in the United States, and a final Zepp Sendai show in June 2012 after the venue's demolition was decided. The official company profile states that Sendai Girls' Pro Wrestling Co., Ltd. was established on January 5, 2018, with capital of 3 million yen and Meiko Satomura as representative director.
