sE Electronics

sE Electronics is a family-owned microphone brand. Its founder, Siwei Zou, studied Composition at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music and began building condenser microphones under the brand name "sE". The company opened its own production facility in Shanghai and runs its own design, engineering, and production teams. In 2008, Siwei handed over day-to-day operations to his daughter Ling. The product line includes dynamic microphones such as the V7 and V7 BLACK, large-diaphragm true-condenser microphones such as the T1 and T2, and a range of studio and stage microphones and accessories.

While visiting California on a scholarship, he began building condenser microphones under his own brand name, "sE", a homage to the art of sound engineering. sE Electronics later opened its own production facility in Shanghai, and unlike many other companies in the region, it runs its own design, engineering, and production teams. In 2008, Siwei handed over the day-to-day operations to his daughter Ling.
