Overview

SchoolCloud is a British educational technology company that provides software for schools, including parents' evenings, clubs and events, and room booking. The company was founded in 2006 by two 15-year-old students who developed a room booking system. Their products are used by primary schools, secondary schools, academy trusts, independent schools, and international schools, trusted by over 8,000 schools worldwide.

History

SchoolCloud started in a computing classroom. The founders, aged 15, were challenged by their IT teacher to solve a school-wide issue of room double bookings. They developed their first product, Room Booking System, during a rainy Scottish summer. Their school paid them £100 for it. They launched their business from the playground in 2006. Since then, they have organically grown their team and developed multiple award-winning technology solutions used across the world.
