Overview
School Publishing House (Ukrainian: Видавничий дім «Школа») is a Ukrainian publishing house founded in 2002. It specializes in educational literature, premium developmental cardboard books for toddlers, and quality fiction for children of all ages. The company was established by Vasyl Fediienko, who created the primer 'Chytailyk' and the 'Krok do shkoly' series.
History
The publishing house was founded in 2002. Its director, Vasyl Fediienko, had prepared his son for school and noticed a lack of quality primers and manuals for preschoolers in Ukrainian. He compiled the primer 'Chytailyk', which remains the best and most widespread primer for Ukrainian preschoolers, with over a million copies sold. Around the same time, the 'Krok do shkoly' series was created, which remains a leader in its segment. Initially, the publishing house focused on educational literature, but now also specializes in premium developmental cardboard books for toddlers and quality fiction for children of all ages.
