Sannohashi was founded on July 7, 1918, by Noboru Nagashima as Sannohashi Seisakusho in Tokyo. It was reorganized as a corporation in 1944. The company moved to Adachi Ward in 1945 after war damage. In 1968, it established the Yashio Plant (now Saitama Plant) in Yashio, Saitama. In 1992, the company name was changed to Sannohashi Co., Ltd.
