Salona Records

Salona Records is an independent digital record label and music production studio based in Split, Croatia. It operates as a combined label and full-service studio, offering arrangement, recording, production, mixing and mastering services to artists. The studio positions itself around a complete production chain: from song arrangement and instrumental tracking through to final mix and master delivery. The service catalogue described on the label's own website covers arrangement (aranžman), studio vocal recording, keyboards and synthesizers, guitar recording (acoustic and electric), drum recording using an 11-channel setup, backing vocal recording, and mix & mastering. Mixing is offered for up to 100 individual channels, while mastering covers one to five stereo files per song. Clients can choose mixing only, mastering only, or both. A complete package bundles arrangement, lead vocal recording, drums, acoustic and electric guitar, bass guitar, orchestration, synthesizers, keyboards, mixing and mastering; backing vocals are excluded from that package. As a digital record label, Salona Records releases music in digital formats rather than through physical manufacturing. Its dual identity as both a label and a studio means it can sign or support artists while also providing the technical and creative production services needed to complete recordings. The brand is rooted in the Croatian music market, with its studio located in Split, the largest city on Croatia's Dalmatian coast. The label's public-facing identity emphasizes craft and access to professional equipment, including specific reference to an AKG C414 microphone manufactured in Austria. Its website is organized around guiding prospective clients through service options and entry points ("Gdje Početi" / "Where to Start"), suggesting a client base that includes independent artists and songwriters preparing material for release. Because Salona Records is a relatively small independent operation, detailed corporate information such as founding year, ownership structure and executive leadership is not publicly documented in the available evidence. The brand should be understood primarily through its service offering and its position as an independent Croatian digital label and production studio.
