Salon Verlag & Edition, led by Gerhard Theewen, has been publishing multiples and artist book series with internationally renowned artists in Cologne since 1995. The program includes editions, exhibition catalogues, catalogues raisonnés, and the magazine Salon. Since 2007, the publisher has exhibited at Art Cologne with its own stand.

In the Edition Ex Libris, Gerhard Theewen has been publishing reprints of an important book for the invited artist since 2001. Since 2015, the '2nd season' of Salon (magazine) has been published.
