History
SafeTruck, also known as Ms. Carita SafeTruck, has over 50 years of experience serving the Heavy-Haul Industry. The brand is trusted by fleets and drivers across the U.S. and Canada. The company emphasizes American-made quality from Verdi, Nevada. The founders, Carita and Merritt Mosby, started the business in the early 1970s after Merritt, a truck driver, was cited for using a non-compliant 'WIDE LOAD' sign. They began manufacturing their own signs from their garage, and in 1972 they started Ms. Carita, Inc. Their sons later joined the business in 1985, expanding into the label and graphics market.
