SAESL

Singapore Aero Engine Services Private Limited (SAESL) is a joint venture company between Rolls-Royce Plc and SIA Engineering Company. It is a Trent Centre of Excellence providing aero engine and component repair services for the Rolls-Royce Trent engine family. SAESL is the world's largest Trent engine MRO with capability to support all products in the Trent family and with a customer base that spans across 6 continents. The company first started operations in 2001 and has since become a market leader for both engine overhaul and component repair services.

SAESL's history includes key milestones: Contract signature in March 1999, official opening and first engine in February 2002, selected as Trent 900 launch facility in March 2004, received Rolls-Royce Centre of Excellence Gold Accreditation for Compressor Blade Cell in December 2006, 1,000th engine and opening of new facility in February 2010, selected as Trent XWB launch MRO facility in December 2011, new Engine Test Facility ground breaking in January 2012, and amalgamation with International Engine Component Overhaul Pte Ltd (IECO) in October 2016.
