Südpark

Südpark is a shopping center located southeast of the center of Klagenfurt am Wörthersee, the capital of the Austrian state of Carinthia. It opened in 1998 and spans a total area of 22,700 square meters, housing 76 shops and 9 food and beverage establishments. The two-story center attracts approximately 2.8 million visitors per year. Since 2011, it has been 100% owned by the corporate group of Tyrolean entrepreneur Anton Pletzer. The center is accessible by public transport via bus line A and offers customers around 700 free parking spaces. In terms of social responsibility and sustainability, Südpark provides two electric charging stations where electric vehicles can be charged free of charge, and it reduces water consumption through the installation of waterless urinals and water-saving fittings.
