Rocznik Historii Czasopiśmiennictwa Polskiego

Rocznik Historii Czasopiśmiennictwa Polskiego (Yearbook of the History of Polish Periodicals) is a Polish scholarly annual that began publication in Wrocław in 1962. It was issued by the Research Unit for the History of Polish Periodicals of the 19th and 20th Centuries at the Institute of Literary Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IBL PAN). The journal publishes academic articles on the history of the Polish press. In 1977 it was renamed Kwartalnik Historii Prasy Polskiej (Quarterly of the History of the Polish Press), and since 1998 it has appeared under the title Rocznik Historii Prasy Polskiej (Yearbook of the History of the Polish Press). The publisher is the Press Studies Commission of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Kraków. The journal is a specialized academic serial rather than a commercial consumer brand, but it functions as a branded scholarly publication within the Polish academic publishing landscape.
