Rockwool, formally Rockwool A/S and commonly presented as the ROCKWOOL Group, is a Danish multinational manufacturer whose principal business is mineral wool made from volcanic rock and other mineral raw materials. The group supplies insulation and acoustic products for residential, commercial, industrial and infrastructure applications. Its product portfolio is used to improve thermal performance, fire resistance, sound control and energy efficiency in buildings and technical installations.
