Rifugio Campogrosso

Rifugio Campogrosso is an alpine hut (rifugio alpino) located at 1,457 metres in the municipality of Recoaro Terme (Vicenza), in the heart of the Piccole Dolomiti, surrounded by the Gruppo del Carega and the Catena del Sengio Alto. Since 2006 it has been managed by the Famiglia Ferro together with its staff. The hut is open all year except at Christmas, Easter and during internal training activities, and offers dining, 49 beds in private and bunk-bed rooms, and a mountain library of about 200 volumes.

Evening openings on full-moon nights are announced from time to time on its social channels, website or by telephone.

  49 beds divided between private rooms and rooms with bunk beds, for families, couples and groups.

  Simple, carefully prepared cuisine with a constant commitment to a sustainable supply chain; menu includes gnocchi with fioretta De.Co, bigoli with duck, melted cheese with mushrooms and speck, game dishes with a rustic polenta mix, and homemade desserts such as strudel, apple cake and panna cotta.

• Mountain library

  A mountain library of about 200 volumes available to guests of the rooms and to enthusiasts who request consultation.
