Rheingau-Taunus-Verkehrsgesellschaft

The Rheingau-Taunus-Verkehrsgesellschaft (RTV) is a service-oriented mobility provider in the Rheingau-Taunus-Kreis that organizes and plans the local bus transport in the district. It is a subsidiary of the Rheingau-Taunus-Kreis and part of the RMV family. On behalf of the district as the competent authority, RTV performs local transport tasks under the ÖPNVG. Currently around 160 vehicles of the transport companies commissioned by RTV are in daily operation, and more than 6.2 million km are covered annually across all lines.

The Rheingau-Taunus-Verkehrsgesellschaft is the local public transport company of the Rheingau-Taunus district, based in Bad Schwalbach. As a subsidiary of the Rheingau-Taunus-Kreis, it is part of the RMV family. It organizes and is responsible for the local ÖPNV bus services in the district, acting on behalf of the district as the competent authority under § 6 Abs. 1 in conjunction with § 5 Abs. 4 ÖPNVG.
