Retrotainment Games

Retrotainment Games is a company that focuses on cartridge gaming, involved in creation, development, manufacturing, publishing, and providing materials to the community. They have released games like Haunted Halloween '87: Year of the Witch (NES) and Haunted Halloween '86: The Curse of Possom Hollow (NES). They collaborate with Mega Cat Studios as 8-Bit Legit to bring authentic 8-bit games to modern consoles. They also sell Japanese Famicom carts for Haunted Halloween games.

Retrotainment was born out of a love for the 8-bit era of gaming and retro culture. The dream was to create an NES game that could be put onto a cartridge and played on the original hardware. The dream was realized in 2015 after assembling the Retrotainment crew, comprised of five guys. They created and released Haunted: Halloween '85 for the NES on cartridge in October of 2015. It began as a simple gray cartridge release of 30 units at the Portland Retro Gaming Expo. Since then, Haunted: Halloween '85 has been released on 'zombie green' and red cartridges, digitally on Steam, and on Famicom cartridges with Japanese translation.
