Resintech Berhad

Resintech Berhad is a fully integrated Malaysian group involved in innovating, designing, manufacturing and marketing a diversified range of uPVC, polyethylene and plastics products. Founded by Dato' Dr. Teh Kim Poo, who began Resintech in his hometown of Klang, the group has manufactured products including fiberglass water tanks, uPVC water pipes, HDPE water tanks, HDPE pipes, HDPE fittings, road barriers and rotational moulded products. It became a public listed company on KLSE and operates distribution centers in Sabah, Johor Bahru, Kota Bahru, Sarawak and Batam, Indonesia.

Resintech was founded by Dato' Dr. Teh Kim Poo, who started the company in his hometown of Klang. The group initially manufactured fiberglass water tanks, then expanded its manufacturing facilities to make fiberglass silos for farms. It later started manufacturing its first uPVC water pipes, set up a distribution center in Sabah, began manufacturing HDPE water tanks with rotational moulding technology, HDPE solid wall water pipes, HDPE corrugated sewerage pipes, and large diameter HDPE triple wall pipes for storm sewers. Resintech became a public listed company on KLSE. It subsequently set up distribution centers in Johor Bahru and Kota Bahru, started manufacturing HDPE fittings, set up a distribution center in Sarawak, set up a distribution center in Batam, Indonesia, started manufacturing road barriers, and started manufacturing facilities in Kuching, Sarawak.

• HDPE PE100 & PE80 pipes

  Widely used for potable water in municipal water pipelines, chosen for lifespan more than double that of other conventional pipe materials.

• Corrugated pipes

  Range from 85mm to 600mm diameter; lightweight and easy to install; used for sewerage discharge, drainage and irrigation, and underground power and telecommunication cable protection.

• KULVART profile pipes

  Spiral wound pipes named KULVART at Resintech, ranging from 300mm to 2500mm diameter, mostly used for drainage and sewerage applications.

• uPVC pipes

  Resintech's first plastics pipe production; used to transport water and discharge unwanted water and sewerage.

• PPR pipes

  Latest addition to Resintech's pipe material range, mainly used to distribute hot water in homes.

• Domestic water tanks

  PE water tanks for household use, available from 100 litres to 10000 litres capacity.

• Septic tanks

  Septic tanks made according to the Malaysian Standard.
