RES4Africa

RES4Africa (Renewable Energy Solutions for Africa) is a Foundation born in 2012 that works in support of Africa's just energy transition in order to achieve SDG7, ensuring access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all. It functions as a bridge between Europe and Africa, gathering a network of members from the clean energy sector across both continents and high-level international partnerships. Its members comprise utilities, manufacturers, financial institutions and consulting companies. The Foundation operates the RES4Africa Academy, which offers advanced training for policymakers, professionals and technicians across Africa, and runs strategic and regional programmes including Policy and Regulations Reforms, International Cooperation Activities, Grids4Africa and RES4Med.

Its members comprise utilities, manufacturers, financial institutions and consulting companies, pursuing the mission of promoting Africa's renewable energy transition and expansion of electrification towards universal access by 2030. The Foundation operates the RES4Africa Academy, which offers advanced training for policymakers, professionals and technicians across the continent, and runs strategic programmes such as Policy and Regulations Reforms, International Cooperation Activities and Grids4Africa, as well as the regional RES4Med platform.

A neutral platform and bridge between Europe and Africa mobilising clean energy investments and dialogue among energy stakeholders.
