RDO Equipment Co. is a heavy machinery dealership founded in 1968 by potato farmer Ronald D. Offutt, who purchased his first equipment dealership in Casselton, North Dakota. The company sells and supports agriculture, construction, environmental, irrigation, positioning, and surveying equipment from manufacturers including John Deere, Vermeer, and Topcon, with more than 80 locations across the U.S. and partnerships in Africa, Australia, Mexico, and Ukraine.

RDO Equipment Co. was founded in 1968. Its roots trace to Ronald D. Offutt, a potato farmer who worked alongside his father in Moorhead, Minnesota and purchased his first equipment dealership; that first store in Casselton, North Dakota set the stage for what would become RDO Equipment Co. The company grew into a dealership selling and supporting agriculture, construction, environmental, irrigation, positioning, and surveying equipment from manufacturers including John Deere, Vermeer, and Topcon, with more than 80 locations across the U.S. and partnerships in Africa, Australia, Mexico, and Ukraine.
