Overview

Ratajska Telewizja Kablowa (RTK) is a Polish local television station based in Poznań and addressed primarily to residents of the right-bank part of the city, especially the Rataje area. Its programming is distributed through the ELSAT cable television network, which belongs to the INEA company. Historically, RTK's programmes were carried for about ten years by the local station Telewizja WTK before RTK obtained its own separate broadcasting licence in 2007 through Przedsiębiorstwo Handlowo-Usługowe „Rataje” Sp. z o.o. The channel reaches roughly 33,000 households, including housing estates in Rataje, Żegrze and Chartowo and areas adjacent to the „Osiedle Młodych” housing cooperative. It broadcasts seven days a week in programme blocks that begin at 8:00, 10:30, 12:00, 14:30, 16:30, 18:00, 20:00 and 22:00. Outside those blocks, the channel shows a fixed camera view from a high-rise building at Osiedle Jagiellońskie 12–13 near Rondo Rataje, accompanied by the sound of Radio Pogoda. RTK's schedule is built around local news and magazine programming. Flagship titles include Aktualności Ratajskie (a news magazine), Kultura pod ręką, Mój Poznań, Moja Wielkopolska, Nasze bezpieczeństwo, Spacerkiem przez Poznań, Psy, Koty i My, Trening dla Każdego, MotoPorady, Ratajski fyrtel kultury, Natura, Premiera, Zakładka, Magazyn Zdrowie, Czas na off and Spotkania z książką. The station also maintains an online presence, including a YouTube channel and the Gazeta Ratajska newspaper, and offers advertising and pricing information through its website. According to an IBRIS survey from April 2022 cited on RTK's own website, the station was the third most-watched local television service in Poznań. Its distribution has evolved over time: from 3 December 2013 the programme became available across the whole Wielkopolska region on INEA's digital television network on channel 56, and on 2 August 2016 it moved to channel 803. RTK remains a hyperlocal broadcaster focused on the right-bank communities of Poznań.
