Overview

Quarkslab is a cybersecurity company founded in 2011 in Paris. It combines offensive and defensive security to help companies and government organizations understand their real vulnerabilities and durably strengthen their security posture, working from the hardware component up to the application. Its research culture is structured into every engineer's time, and its offerings — QRedTeam, QLab and QShield — are described as the direct extension of this offensive research. The company reports 1000+ engagements, 800+ publications, and operations in 22 countries across 4 continents with three offices.

History

Quarkslab is a cybersecurity company founded in 2011 in Paris. Before Quarkslab, Fred Raynal founded MISC in 2001 — described as the first French information-security magazine — and co-founded SSTIC, a reference conference for technical security; in 2004 he launched the first Red Team at EADS, the future Airbus. Quarkslab grew out of that trajectory with the ambition to go from the hardware component up to the application, where a partial analysis would leave blind spots. At Quarkslab, research is structured into every engineer's time, and what is discovered on one engagement feeds the next; published CVEs, open-source tools and conferences are described as the visible trace of what is built for clients. Each offering — QRedTeam, QLab and QShield — is described as the direct extension of this offensive research, with expertise built from the inside over 14 years.
