Quantonation

Quantonation is an early-stage venture capital fund investing globally in deep technologies based on advances in physics and computing. It invests initial tickets from pre-seed to Series A and provides support through to Series B. Headquartered in Paris, France, and Dallas, USA, it invests across Europe, North America, and Asia-Pacific. Quantonation was founded in 2018 as the first fund dedicated to quantum technologies.

Quantonation was founded in 2018 as the first fund dedicated to quantum technologies. In 2019, it was the largest investor in terms of number of companies in quantum technologies. In 2020, it founded Le Lab Quantique and QuantX. In 2021, it held the first closing of Quantonation I. In 2022, it held the final closing of Quantonation I with €91m of assets under management, and Alain Aspect, its scientific advisor, was awarded the Nobel Prize. In 2023, it held the first closing of Quantonation II, created an SPV for Pasqal, and established the first Quantum Studio in Canada.
