Québec Info Musique

Québec Info Musique (QIM) is a non-profit organization that publishes an online encyclopedic directory devoted to the music of Quebec. Launched in March 1999, the website offers biographical notices and discographies for more than 700 Quebec artists spanning all styles and eras. Beyond its core reference database, QIM has produced radio content and social media programming to promote Quebec artists and their recordings, shows, and related events. From 2003, in collaboration with the Alliance nationale de l'industrie musicale (ANIM), it produced a radio series titled Chansons QIM'ANIM featuring interviews and songs by Quebec and Canadian artists; the series comprised 49 one-hour programs broadcast by some sixty Canadian and European radio stations and remains available from the producer for educational use.
