Overview

Qruppo is a Japanese adult game (eroge) brand that develops and publishes visual novel adventure games for Windows and other platforms. Its predecessor was a doujin circle called "Hatonosu-shiki Seisakusho," and the brand made its commercial debut in 2018 with the release of the adventure game Nukitashi — the abbreviation by which Nukigē Mitai na Shima ni Sunderu Hinnyū (Watashi) wa Dō Surya Ii desu ka? is commonly known. The title won the Scenario Award at the Moe Game Awards 2018, and Qruppo itself received the New Brand Award, establishing it quickly within the Japanese bishōjo game market. The following year Qruppo released the sequel, Nukitashi 2, and within one year of its debut the brand captured the Grand Prize at the Moe Game Awards 2019. In 2022 the brand released Hentai Prison, subtitled as an "exhibitionist prison-escape ADV," with the theme song "ILLEXECUTION." In 2024 Qruppo issued remastered versions of the first two Nukitashi titles and a combined 1+2 Remaster pack, and in 2025 it announced the end of support for the original version of Nukitashi while continuing to patch and update the remastered releases. Qruppo's games are marketed to an adult audience (18+) and are distributed primarily in Japan. The brand maintains an official website, an X (formerly Twitter) account, and a YouTube channel, and it has organized offline events such as the Qruppo Music Festival, held at CLUB CITTA' in April 2022. Its catalog is small but tightly focused, built around the Nukitashi franchise and Hentai Prison, with staff credits including planner Nagatosachi, artists Ukimaru Tsubone and Kisaragi Chiyuki, and writers Kurabone Haruhito and Kamichika Yū.

History

Qruppo is a Japanese adult game brand whose predecessor was a doujin circle named "Hatonosu-shiki Seisakusho." The brand made its commercial debut in 2018 with the adventure game Nukigē Mitai na Shima ni Sunderu Hinnyū (Watashi) wa Dō Surya Ii desu ka?, commonly abbreviated as Nukitashi. The title was released on July 27, 2018, and was positioned as a "stylish escape-and-battle ADV" in which the protagonist refuses to lose to "bitches." It won the Scenario Award at the Moe Game Awards 2018, and Qruppo itself received the New Brand Award, signaling a notable entrance into the bishōjo game market. In 2019 Qruppo released the sequel, Nukitashi 2, on July 26. Described as an "escape-and-battle ADV set in a parallel world," it earned the Grand Prize at the Moe Game Awards 2019, giving the brand a major award within one year of its debut. The sequel's theme song was "BWLAUTE BEIRRD," sung by Yumeno Yuki, with lyrics by Ebikaree Hakushaku and Chiyo and composition by Ebikaree Hakushaku. On January 28, 2022, Qruppo released Hentai Prison, subtitled as an "exhibitionist prison-escape ADV." Its theme song, "ILLEXECUTION," was sung by Fuyuno Sakura, with lyrics by Ebikaree Hakushaku and Chiyo and composition by Ebikaree Hakushaku. The game had originally been scheduled for release on November 26, 2021, according to its official site, before arriving in early 2022. In 2024 Qruppo moved to refresh its back catalog. On June 28, 2024, it released Nukitashi 1+2 Remaster, a combined remastered package of the first two titles. On December 19, 2024, it announced the release of Nukitashi Remaster and Nukitashi 2 Remaster as separate products, and also announced the end of sales for the Nukitashi 1+2 Remaster pack. The remastered Nukitashi was priced at 9,680 yen (tax included) with a release date of February 28, 2025, while the original version had launched at 9,800 yen (tax excluded) for the first-press limited edition. Through 2024 and 2025 Qruppo continued to support its titles with patches. On November 1, 2024, it released version 3.0.5 for Nukitashi 2 Remaster; on February 5, 2025, version 1.0.7 for Hentai Prison; and on September 22, 2025, version 3.0.6 for Nukitashi Remaster, addressing typographical errors and an Android progression bug. On July 31, 2025, the brand announced the end of support for the original version of Nukitashi. Beyond software, Qruppo has engaged with its fanbase through events. The Qruppo Music Festival was held on April 9, 2022, at CLUB CITTA'. The brand maintains an official website, an X (formerly Twitter) account, and a YouTube channel. Its catalog remains focused on the Nukitashi franchise and Hentai Prison, with staff credits including planner Nagatosachi, original artists Ukimaru Tsubone and Kisaragi Chiyuki, scenario writers Kurabone Haruhito and Kamichika Yū, direction by LowLevel, music by Ebikaree Hakushaku, and movie work by Syamo.
