Overview
Qascom is an Italian aerospace and defence company specialising in space cybersecurity and satellite navigation. Founded in 2004 by three engineers who self-financed the venture, the company has grown into a key player in the European satellite navigation and security market, with an annual growth rate exceeding 20% according to its own reporting. Its headquarters are in Bassano del Grappa, in the province of Vicenza, Italy. Qascom's core expertise lies in GNSS authentication, space cybersecurity, interference detection and simulation systems for space exploration and critical infrastructure. The company develops and produces GNSS receivers, GNSS simulators and GNSS spectrum monitoring devices. Its product portfolio includes the QA707 GNSS simulator for testing authentication and cyber-attacks, the QN400-S and QN500-S space GNSS receivers, and the QB100 interference monitoring solution. The QN400-SPACE receiver technology is flight-proven and was selected by NASA and the Italian Space Agency (ASI) for the Lunar GNSS Receiver Experiment (LuGRE) on the Firefly Blue Ghost Mission 1. Qascom is involved in major space programmes with the European Space Agency (ESA), the European Commission (EC) and the European Union Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA), including Galileo, EGNOS and Moonlight, as well as missions with NASA such as those on the International Space Station, launchers and the Commercial Lunar Payload Services (CLPS) programme. The company operates a navigation laboratory, an electronics laboratory, an integration site for space systems, an operations control room and external areas covering 8,000 square metres for drone and space systems testing. Qascom remains privately held and is led by co-founder Oscar Pozzobon, who serves as CEO and President. In 2025 he was recognised during ESA's 30-year European satellite navigation celebration and received the Luigi Broglio Award. The company continues to expand its presence in both European and global space and cybersecurity sectors.
History
Qascom was founded in 2004 by three engineers who self-financed the venture. The company began with a focus on providing security solutions for satellite navigation. Over the years, it expanded its expertise to include a wide range of services and products, such as GNSS signal simulation, GNSS receivers, jamming and spoofing detection, and security technologies for Galileo. The company has steadily grown to establish itself as a key player in the European satellite navigation and security market, with an annual growth rate exceeding 20%. Qascom is involved in major space missions with the European Space Agency (ESA), the European Commission (EC) and the European Union Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA), such as Galileo, EGNOS and Moonlight, as well as various missions with NASA, including those on the International Space Station, launchers, and the Commercial Lunar Payload Services (CLPS) programme to the Moon. The company's QN400-SPACE receiver technology is flight-proven and was selected by NASA and the Italian Space Agency (ASI) for the Lunar GNSS Receiver Experiment (LuGRE) on the Firefly Blue Ghost Mission 1 (BGM1). In 2025, Qascom received recognition at ESA's 30-year European satellite navigation celebration, and its co-founder Oscar Pozzobon was awarded the Luigi Broglio Award. The company also hosted the kickoff meeting for the SATCO project and was awarded the ALIGNED project by ESA. Qascom continues to invest heavily in research and development to maintain its leadership in the space and navigation sectors.

Products and positioning
Leading aerospace and defence company specialising in space cybersecurity and satellite navigation, serving European and global markets with innovative, secure navigation solutions.
QA707 GNSS Simulator
A cutting-edge solution for global GNSS threat awareness and management, designed to test authentication and cyber-attacks, including GNSS interference simulation, deception jamming, spoofing, and advanced cyber-threat management. Available in Rack Edition and Software Edition.
QN400-S Space GNSS Receiver
A multi-constellation (GPS and Galileo) and dual frequency L1/L5 GNSS receiver qualified for LEO, Launchers and Commercial Moon Missions. Compact and low cost for 'New Space' applications requiring robust Position, Navigation and Time, Space Cybersecurity and the flexibility of a Software Defined Radio Solution.
QN500-S Space GNSS Receiver
A multi-constellation (GPS and Galileo) and three frequency E1/E5/E6 GNSS receiver representing the ideal product for 'New Space' applications requiring High Reliability, Cybersecurity and Robust PNT in Space. Supports navigation of Multiple Missions from Launchers, to LEO/GEO and Deep Space. Target lifetime in LEO is 5-7 years.
QB100 GNSS Interference Monitoring
A radio device that monitors the spectrum and detects jamming and spoofing in the GNSS band. Once an event is detected, QB100 reports the interference to control server applications, which can generate alerts and notify the user. When at least four sensors are used, the technology can localize the source of the interference on a map.
