Purity Through Fire

Purity Through Fire is an independent German record label based in Wilkau-Haßlau, Saxony. It is run by Mariusz Hold and is regarded as the successor company to Det Germanske Folket and Hammermark Art. The label focuses on subgenres of extreme metal, particularly black metal and pagan metal, and maintains worldwide distribution partners and an international roster of artists. The label has been active in the extreme metal underground, releasing music by a range of acts. In 2021, an analysis of the far-right scene in Zwickau published by the Heinrich Böll Foundation named the company as a regionally based "NSBM label" (National Socialist Black Metal). The label was mentioned in the context of portraying musician Paul Morgenstern, whose band Leichenzug is released by Purity Through Fire. Purity Through Fire operates as a private, independent entity with no known parent company. Its official website serves as a primary point of contact and information.
