Publishing House of Electronics Industry

Publishing House of Electronics Industry (PHEI) is a comprehensive publishing house established in October 1982 and supervised by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Its basic businesses are books, periodicals, audio-visual and electronic publishing, with value-added businesses in digital publishing and informatization services, knowledge content and education training services, and industry promotion and support services. Its publishing fields cover more than ten categories including electronic information, industrial technology, economic management, social sciences and humanities, popular science and children's books, and art and life. It has received honors such as "National Outstanding Publishing House" and "Advanced Publishing Unit" of the first China Publishing Government Award.

Its publishing fields cover more than ten categories including electronic information, industrial technology, economic management, social sciences and humanities, popular science and children's books, and art and life, building a comprehensive publishing pattern in which science and technology, education, and mass publishing complement each other, with comprehensive publishing capability ranking among the top in the national publishing industry. It has always adhered to an operating policy of putting social benefits first and realizing the unity of social and economic benefits, and many publications have won awards such as the "China Publishing Government Award," "China Excellent Publication Award," "National Science and Technology Progress Award," and "Wenjin Book Award." It has always adhered to an internationalization strategy, paying great attention to developing both domestic and international markets, and has long conducted copyright trade cooperation with world-renowned publishing institutions, promoting cultural and technological exchanges, and has won titles such as "National Advanced Unit for Book Copyright Trade" and "National Advanced Unit for Copyright Export Publishing." It has always taken promoting China's industrial and informatization development as its own responsibility, establishing the "Industry and Information Technology Science and Education Monograph Publishing Fund" to subsidize the publication of a large number of high-level industry monographs and textbooks. It has always acted as a pioneer of innovation, being the first in the domestic publishing industry to establish a postdoctoral scientific research workstation and among the first to obtain Internet publishing qualifications, and has successively established the national "Publishing Integration Development Key Laboratory" and "Press and Publication Industry Science and Technology and Standards Key Laboratory," and was rated as a "Digital Publishing Transformation Demonstration Unit" and "Digital Publishing Advanced Unit."
