PT's Coffee

PT's Coffee is a specialty coffee roaster founded in 1993 in Topeka, Kansas, by Jeff Taylor and Fred Polzin. The company roasts single-origin coffees and signature blends, and operates a Direct Trade program. It has received recognition including Roaster of the Year by Roast Magazine in 2009 and Coffee Review's #1 Coffee of 2022.

PT's was born in 1993 in Topeka, Kansas, out of Jeff Taylor and Fred Polzin’s simple desire for an excellent cup of coffee. Four years and two retail locations later, they began buying green coffee, roasting, and traveling to origin, forging Direct Trade partnerships. They roast dozens of single-origin coffees and signature blends to order five days a week for retail locations, wholesale clients, and online customers. They were named Roaster of the Year by Roast Magazine in 2009 and have more than 50 ratings above 94 points from Coffee Review, including No. 1 in 2022.

• Flying Monkey

  Balanced yet playful medium roast designed for long milk drinks. Notes of chocolate, honey, and graham cracker.

• Southpaw

  Light-medium roast with jabs of fruit, sugar, and spice with a floral aroma and clean finish.
