Psihološka Obzorja

Psihološka Obzorja (English subtitle: Horizons of Psychology) is a Slovenian scholarly journal dedicated to psychology and its interdisciplinary border areas. It publishes contributions from all fields of psychology, written by both psychologists and non-psychologists who address problems touching on psychology from their own professional perspectives. The journal aims to encourage the development of empirical and theoretical psychological research in Slovenia and beyond by reporting and critically reviewing original research, theoretical topics, methodological innovations, and recent professional experience. It seeks to be the journal of all Slovenian psychologists and to promote their activity outside Slovenia through inter-institutional exchanges and by entering the most important international bibliographic databases. The journal is conceptually divided into three sections. The first contains original authorial scientific research contributions, including original empirical research and theoretical review articles. The second section comprises professional articles such as professional-research empirical or review articles and discussions. The third section gathers reviews, book reviews, opinions, polemics, and professional (association) reports. The journal is defined as an important and influential scientific and professional periodical in psychological science, and publications in it are reference works for advancement in scientific and professional titles. Psihološka Obzorja is published by the University of Ljubljana Press (Založba Univerze v Ljubljani) together with the Slovenian Psychologists' Association (Društvo psihologov Slovenije). The editorial office is located at the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana, Aškerčeva 2, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia.
