Pressing Line

Pressing Line s.r.l. is an Italian record production and music publishing company founded and chaired by the singer-songwriter Lucio Dalla in 2001. It was created after the closure of the historic label Pressing, where Dalla had served as artistic director; Pressing Line inherited that label's structure and staff. Based in Bologna, the company handles the music publishing and production of Lucio Dalla's catalogue and also publishes the work of singer-songwriter Samuele Bersani. In addition to its back catalogue, Pressing Line has continued to release new music, including the 2021 single "Deglutire" by the Bologna duo Il Generatore di Tensione, who first met the label at a 2018 concert at the Bravo Caffè and subsequently collaborated with it for two years. The label is described in its own materials as a historic etichetta (label) associated with Lucio Dalla.
