Portland Glass is a glass replacement and repair chain in New England, United States. It provides auto glass repairs, residential glass, and commercial glass services, and is described as one of the leading home services brands owned by Neighborly. The company was founded in 1947 by Samuel Cohen, who opened his own glass shop after learning the glass trade. Gene Cohen took over in 1963 and expanded Portland Glass into new markets, adding storefront glass services and more locations. In 2016 the company strengthened its commercial glass services through the acquisition of Cumberland County Glass. Portland Glass reports over 300 employees and states that its services are always performed by its own team of glass repair specialists, and that it is an RRP certified company.

After learning the ins and outs of the glass trade, Samuel Cohen chose to open his own glass shop in 1947. As automobiles rolled off the assembly lines in great numbers following World War II, Sam foresaw a promising future for the auto glass replacement business.
