History
Polisan Holding A.Ş. was established in 2000 to bring together companies operating in different sectors under a common structure. The foundations of Polisan were laid by the Bitlis Family's industrial ventures: Polivinil Asetat Kimyevi Maddeler Sanayi A.Ş. was founded in 1964 under the leadership of Necmettin Bitlis and took the name Polisan Kimya in 1967. After operations moved to Dilovası, Poliport was founded in 1971 to respond to needs in port operations. Polisan Kansai Boya operated within the group for many years; its paint activities were separated from the Holding umbrella in 2025 through a partial demerger as part of a restructuring. Since 2012, Polisan Holding has been traded on Borsa İstanbul under the code "POLHO". As of 2026, CoreX Ports, a subsidiary of CoreX Holding, is the majority shareholder of Polisan Holding.
