Platforma za društveni centar Čakovec

Platforma za društveni centar Čakovec ("Platform for a Social Centre Čakovec") is a Croatian civic initiative and web platform based in Čakovec, Croatia. It is associated with the domain drustvenicentar.hr and is documented as a Wikidata item (Q111180072). The initiative advocates for and coordinates the establishment of a community or social centre (društveni centar) in the town of Čakovec, in Međimurje County in northern Croatia. As a grassroots platform rather than a conventional commercial brand, it functions as an organising hub for local residents, associations and volunteers who want shared, community-run space and programmes. Its public presence is primarily online, through its website, where it communicates its goals, activities and calls to participation. The platform is not a registered commercial trademark or a product brand in the usual sense; it is best understood as a civil-society project. Because public, verifiable information about its founding date, legal form, leadership and funding is limited, this dossier remains deliberately concise and flags the entry for review.
