Plastic Odyssey

Plastic Odyssey presents its mission as deploying concrete solutions to fight ocean plastic pollution. Its expedition departed from Marseille on 1 October 2022 aboard the 40-meter laboratory vessel M/V Plastic Odyssey for a three-year journey toward the regions most affected by plastic pollution, with 20 explorers on board tasked with finding concrete solutions. After three years of expedition, the project announced a France Tour 2026 with 9 stops in France to share the discoveries of the three years of exploration around the world. The organization also solicits regular donors through a 'crew of 1,000' program.
